Tim joined the Australia-Indonesia Centre as Online Content Editor in March 2018 and in September that year took on his current role as Digital Communications Manager.
Before joining the AIC Tim worked as a school teacher, of Humanities, English and Indonesian, and as a copyeditor and consultant for The Jakarta Post, Sahabat Anak and other organisations. He is on the Board at Inside Indonesia magazine, where he also co-ordinates copyediting.
He has a Bachelor of Arts (Indonesian and Cultural Studies) from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma of Education from RMIT University.
His other past jobs include concreting, taxi driving, canoe guiding and jackarooing.
