Professor Irwan Adi Ekaputra

Irwan is a Professor of Finance at Universitas Indonesia. His research interests are predominantly in market microstructure, asset pricing, banking, fintech, and digital currency.

He has published some of his work in reputable journals such as Computational Economics (IF 2019:1.317); International Review of Finance (IF 2019: 1.177); Research in International Business and Finance (IF 2019: 1.801); and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (IF 2019: 1.214).

In 2013, Irwan and several Indonesian finance scholars found the Indonesian Finance Association (IFA), and he is appointed as its inaugural President. Since June 2013, he also serves as one of the board members of the Asian Finance Association (AsFA).

In 2016, Irwan received a scholarship from the Centre for Asian Business and Economics as the visiting scholar at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Melbourne.

He currently holds an administrative position in the Faculty of Economics and Business as the Director of Graduate (Master and Doctoral) Program in Management. He was also entrusted as the Deputy Director of  Master of Management Program (2005-2009).
