Professor Anne Lytle

Anne has a BSc in Neurobiology and Psychology from Cornell University.
She gained her MSc in Organisational Behaviour from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, where she also completed her PhD in the area of culture and negotiation.
Prior to joining Monash Business School on 27 July 2015, Anne was Director of Lytle and Associates Pty Ltd, which provides consulting and training programs to public, private and non-profit organisations. Her areas of specialisation include leadership, managing people for high performance, negotiation, conflict management, and emotional intelligence.
Anne’s previous academic roles include: MBA and EMBA teaching at the University of Michigan; MBA, EMBA and executive education at the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales; and undergraduate, MBA and executive education at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Anne has published widely across a range of HR and applied psychology topics, with a particular interest in the role of culture in negotiation, leadership and organisational decision-making. She has extensive experience in designing and delivering corporate training for clients world-wide, from the government services sector to major multinationals.
