Professor Ana Deletic

Ana Deletic is the leading international researcher in sustainable urban water management, focusing on Water Sensitive Urban Design.

In 2012, the Victorian State Parliament awarded Prof Deletic the Victoria Prize for Science and Innovation (Physical Sciences) for her achievements in stormwater research.  She is currently Associate Dean of Research in the Faculty of Engineering, and Professor of Civil Engineering, at Monash University. She is Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, a Director of Monash Water for Liveability and was instrumental (as Regional Executive Director) in establishing the Cooperative Research Centre for Water Sensitive Cities (CRC for WSC).

In just two decades she has supervised 39 PhD students, published over 284 journal articles, conference papers and other publications, consulted with governments and chaired or delivered keynotes at numerous international conferences.
