Professor Ari Natalia Probandari is a lecturer, researcher and the Head of Doctoral Program in Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). She is also a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Her current research project focuses on implementation research in prevention and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases, including tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, hypertension and diabetes; and health systems and policy research.

Aside from her main role as an academic staff, she is also the researcher at the Center for Tropical Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM); coordinator of research and innovation, tuberculosis expert committee Indonesian Ministry of Health; associate editor for BMC Health Services Research; grant reviewer for Indonesia RISPRO LPDP and UNS; and peer reviewer for several academic journals.

Prof Ari holds a medical doctorate from UGM and Master of Science and PhD in Public Health from Umea University, Sweden.

Prof Ari is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
