Ngakan Putu Anom Harjana is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Udayana University, Indonesia.

His research is focused on epidemiology, demography and sexual and reproductive health. Aside from his main role at the University, Ngakan is also a consultant for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Operational Director of the Baswara Press.

Ngakan holds a Bachelor of Public Health from Udayana University and Master of Art in Population and Sexual and Reproductive Health from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, Thailand.

Ngakan is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
