Muhammad Anugrah Saputra is a qualitative research associate at the Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Development Initiative (CISDI). His current position focuses on providing support for qualitative research, including strategic planning, implementation and quality assurance on various projects within the health sector. He is also in charge of developing research tools as well as result dissemination.

Prior to his role in CISDI, Saputra had experience in a research collaboration with African Center for Technology Studies (ACTS) in Nairobi, Kenya. He published a paper under ACTS titled “ The Socio-technical Imaginaries of Energy Transformation in Kenya.”

Saputra graduated from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Japan, majoring in International Relations and Peace Studies. He continued to study for a master’s degree in International Development at the University of Edinburgh, UK.

Saputra is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
