Madelina Ariani is a researcher and lecturer at the Center for Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Her current research project focuses on strengthening regional capacities on disaster health management.
Aside from her main role as an academic staff at UGM, Madelina is also a consultant and trainer for disaster plans of hospital, primary healthcare and district health offices at national level. Her consultancy and research portfolio include the disaster management and response plan of earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction in Central Sulawesi, Lombok, and West Nusa Tenggara.
Madelina holds a Bachelor of Public Health from Lambung Mangkurat University of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, and Master of Public Health from UGM.
Madelina is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
