Dr Kustiariyah Tarman

Kustiariyah Tarman is a faculty member at the Department of Aquatic Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB University. Currently, she leads the Division of Marine Biotechnology, Center for Coastal and Marine Resources Studies, at the same university. She received her doctoral degree in Natural Sciences from Greifswald University, Germany in 2011. Her research interests are marine natural products and marine microbiology, especially marine fungi.

She provides service to several national associations including Indonesian Society for Mycology (Mikoina), Indonesian Society for Fisheries Product Processing (MPHPI) and Indonesian Forum for Bioremediation. She is a member of the editorial board for the Indonesian Journal of Fisheries Product Processing, as well as reviewer of national and international journals including Tropical Marine Sciences and Technology, Biomaterial Sciences, and Marine Drugs.
