Isabella Di Nello

Isabella has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Monash University with honours in sociology. Her thesis examined how masculinity is portrayed in Indonesian cigarette ads, marrying her two interests: sociology and Indonesia. In 2023, she won a Darmasiswa Scholarship to study Indonesian language and culture at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR).

She is currently a Project Officer at the AIC. Before this role, Isabella worked for the Victorian Government in policy at the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR). She previously interned at AIC in 2021 as part of the Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP).
