Gita Kusnadi is a research associate at the Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Development Initiative (CISDI). Her current position focuses on providing research support for quantitative as well as qualitative research needs of various projects within the public health sector.
To present, apart from being engaged in the Rapid Review program with the WHO Indonesia, she is involved in several other research projects, including “Promoting Vaccine Take-Up and Tackling Vaccine Hesitancy: The Role of Local Health Workers and Leaders in Indonesia” as well as a number of projects regarding “SSB Tax Implementation in Indonesia”. The latter advocacy project has put her in an active engagement with national stakeholders in supporting the plan of SSB tax implementation in the country. Prior to her role at CISDI, she was a research scholar at Cancer Prevention Research Center, The University of Queensland. She has experience in conducting research data analysis to improve public health programs and support policy making processes related to public health and nutrition.
Gita graduated from Diponegoro University in Indonesia, majoring in Nutrition Science. She continued to study for a master’s degree in Public Health at The University of Queensland, Australia.
Gita is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
