Gde Yulian Yogadhita is a pharmacist, lecturer and researcher at the Center for Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).

Aside from his main role at UGM, he is also the consultant and trainer for disaster plans of hospitals, primary healthcare and district health offices at national level.

Prior to his appointment at UGM, Gde worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) for more than 5 years to strengthen Disaster Risk Reduction Program for Health Sector Indonesia (DRR-PHS), enabling sustainability in reducing emergency and disaster risks through effective preparedness, response and recovery activities, as per the updated Standard Operating Procedures, in all provinces in Indonesia. One of his notable achievements was providing technical assistance in developing preparedness and response plans for public health emergencies for the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta.

Gde holds a B.Pharm and pharmacist from UGM and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from University of Indonesia.

Gde is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
