Falma Kemalasari acts as the Cluster Liaison Coordinator based at Universitas Indonesia for the Health Cluster of the Australia-Indonesia Centre.

Falma is a neuroscientist and biologist, whose interest in science is focussed on how best it can be utilised for broad benefit and impact. She is an LPDP (Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education) alumni and earned her MSc from Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands, in Cognitive Neuroscience. She obtained her BSc from Institut Teknologi Bandung in Biology and received a cumlaude for her academic performance.

In 2017, she joined the Indonesian Medical Education and Research Institute (IMERI) Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia (UI) as part of the research management team, including supporting various AIC Health Cluster projects at UI.

Falma is bringing a wealth of experience to the AIC Health Cluster from her previous roles:  as project manager coordinating a research team across 5 different regions in Indonesia (Sumba Barat Daya, Maluku Tenggara Barat, Garut, Bogor, and Bantaeng); as a part of the LPDP welcoming alumni program, a consultant to the LPDP alumni division; as well as a research assistant for several health research projects.
