Dragono Halim

Dragono began his career in communications and commercial broadcasting as a radio announcer in Samarinda.

After graduating as Sarjana Sosial (Bachelor of Social Sciences) in Communications and Public Relations from Universitas Mulawarman, he pursued his passion for journalism working as a field journalist, columnist, editor and managing editor at Samarinda Pos from 2008 to 2016.

He later moved to Jakarta and worked in corporate communications within the e-commerce industry at Bhinneka.Com until 2022. During his time in Jakarta, he also volunteered for TEDxJakarta and PATRIA focusing on educational and cultural initiatives for youth.

Now based in Melbourne, Dragono currently works at the Australia-Indonesia Centre (AIC) as a Digital Content Coordinator.
