Dr Berry’s PhD project investigated the influence of the marketing of toddler milks on attitudes and beliefs about infant feeding in Australia using a Social Marketing framework and drawing on her background in Applied Philosophy (Ethics).

Since 2014, she has been applying her knowledge and skills in research, counselling, communication and professional education to a broad set of child health problems. She is currently working on a project that will develop a suite of tools and resources to help health professionals communicate more effectively with parents about vaccinations, and also working with the South Asian Infant Feeding Research Network to identify and test effective interventions to improve maternal and child nutrition in the region.
