Dr Mora Claramita is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Yogyakarta, where she works in the Department of Medical Education and the Department of Family & Community Medicine, and has been a practising general practitioner since 2000.
She earned a Medical Doctorate from UGM and her masters and doctoral degrees in Medical Education at Maastricht University the Netherlands. She is interested in the doctor-patient relationship, communication skills training, community-based education and other fields of medical education closely related to primary care medicine. She received the Lyn-Clearihan Award for Best Paper in 2012, the Fulbright Senior Scholar Award in 2014, the FAIMER Fellowship in 2015, the Australia Fellowship Award in 2016, Awards of Education and Service Excellence from the University of Iowa, USA, in 2016, and the High Achievement Lecturer Award in the Faculty of Medicine at UGM in 2017.
