Dr M Yanuar Purwanto

Dr M Yanuar Jarwadi Purwanto is senior researcher in water resources management, focusing on water allocation operation and policy.

Since 2008, his research dealing with water sector’s allocation, stake holder’s efforts to fulfill the demand and strategic counter-measure of stake holder (including the government program and activities) to catch up the water demand. Issues in water stress, operation rule of the reservoir, government budgeting poicies and institutional role in water management have being addressed in his research.

He is currently is the Graduate Program Coordinator of Civil and Environmental Enginnering in Bogor Agricultural University. During his research works, he has supervised 23 PhD students, published over 25 journal articles, conference papers and other publications, consulted with governments and chaired or delivered keynotes at numerous conferences.
