Dr Budiati Prasetiamartati,”Dias”, supports the Centre’s work to implement findings from the Partnership for Australia-Indonesia Research (PAIR) program and has more than 20 years of experience in research, program design and advocacy.
Previous roles include program lead at the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Pro-Poor Policy: The Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI), a joint government initiative to improve the quality of public policies. She has also worked on decentralisation and local governance for the United Nations Development Programme in Indonesia.
Dr Prasetiamartati has co-authored several books and peer-reviewed several journal articles, as well as authored and co-authored working papers, research reports, proceedings, seminar and conference papers.
She has an undergraduate degree in urban and regional planning from Bandung Institute of Technology, a Master of Arts in development studies with specialisation in public policy and administration from the Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands and a PhD in coastal and marine resources Management from Bogor Agricultural University.
