Dr Bella Donna is a lecturer, researcher and the Head of Disaster Health Management Division at the Center for Health Policy and Management at the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).

As a disaster management consultant, she helps groups or organisations devise disaster response plans, develop health crisis protocols and oversee preparedness training in health care facilities.

Her experience in reducing vulnerability and improving emergency preparedness and response capacity includes the 2021 earthquake in West Sulawesi and the 2018 liquefaction, earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi, and earthquake in Lombok.

Dr Bella holds a B.Med from Methodist Indonesia University and a Master’s degree in Management of Health Policy from UGM.

Dr Bella is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
