Dr Dhite Bayu Nugroho is a lecturer, researcher and the Vice Director of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Dr Sardjito Hospital.
His current research project focuses on the role of endothelial cell senescence in the pathophysiology of myocardial hypertrophy. He is also interested in the impact of intermittent fasting towards metabolic profile as well as the effect on myocardial infarction.
Aside from his main role at UGM, he is also the knowledge translation coordinator for Cochrane Indonesia and peer reviewer for Journal of Medical Sciences, BMC Medical Genetics and Cardiology-Karger.
Dr Dhite holds a B.Med and Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology from UGM and a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine from Kobe University through the Monbukagakusho Program.
Dr Dhite is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
