Andy Gumala

Mr Andy Gumala has held the position of Vice Present of Business Development for PT Agricon Bogor Indonesia since 2014. He has over thirty years of experience in agriculture as well as a wealth of experience working with countries around South East Asia. Prior to his current role, he worked as the Corn Marketing Lead at Syngenta Singapore where he managed corn seed and crop protection business in ASEAN.

Among his recent achievements are managing Corn Seed Business in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Sri Lanka and develop a market for hybrid rice, seed treatment and corn silage for the Asia Pacific region. He was also the Regional Manager and Asia Pacific Rice Team Leader for ASEAN where he successfully started operations in Vietnam and Cambodia, generated profits in Thailand, and successfully introduced biotechnology in the Philippines.
