Amdya Hisyam

Amdya Hisyam is the PAIR Program Officer, bringing a strong background in international relations, community engagement, and project coordination. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Istanbul Bilgi University, Türkiye, with a focus on migration, refugee management, and vulnerable groups.

She has contributed to various academic and community-based initiatives in Indonesia, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, including roles at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC–OIC), and Hasanuddin University’s Research and Development Centre for Marine, Coastal, and Small Islands (RDC MaCSI).

Her professional and research interests centre on gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI), particularly on how inclusive approaches can strengthen community resilience and inform evidence-based policymaking. Actively involved in volunteer and community initiatives, she continues to support programs in Indonesia that promote community service, disability inclusion, and local empowerment.

Beyond her professional role, Amdya contributes to the Sulapa Institute, a collective that fosters research and dialogue on sustainability and policy issues in Eastern Indonesia.
