Imam teaches undergraduate classes in the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia.
He is also an alumni, majoring in both Marketing and Human Resources. He then continued his education in the Psychometrics Applied Masters Program, Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia and graduated Cum Laude in 2010. The author was the managing editor of the South East Asian Journal of Management from 2011 to 2014.
He is was awarded his PhD from the University of Queensland Business School, Brisbane, Australia under the supervision of Prof Frank Alpert. His current research interest lies in the field of “Digital Marketing” and “Freemium Business Model” in the “Entertainment Software” industry.
