Posted on January 23, 2019

Richard Frankland tells us about the recent Makassar-Yirrkala Art Exchange project, which celebrates Australia and Indonesia’s shared history – one that predates colonialism – built around an ethos of ‘what was, what is and what can be’.

Richard is head of the Wilin Centre for Indigenous Arts and Cultural Development at the Victorian College of the Arts, The University of Melbourne.
