Leapfrogging Jakarta towards sustainable water management to become a water-sensitive city

This project will develop a socio-technical understanding of drivers, barriers and opportunities for water sensitivity in Jakarta to inform an agenda for collaborative interdisciplinary research to transform water management in Indonesia (and Australia). Activities will evolve around the concept of “water sensitive cities”, an emerging response offering water management principles for enhancing urban liveability, sustainability and resilience.
