Leonardo joined The Australia-Indonesia Centre as a Research Officer in March 2018, providing research support services.

Prior to this role, Leonardo served as an Assistant Grants Officer at the Monash Research Office, reviewing ARC research grant applications and providing feedback to researchers. He also worked at the Italian Consulate in Melbourne, where he assisted in electoral and demographic services activities.

Leonardo’s qualifications include a PhD in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Urbino, Italy, and a bachelor degree from the University of Bologna majoring in Political Science and International Relations.
