Posted on May 5, 2017

The Australia-Indonesia Centre Health Cluster is pleased to announce that IAAH Travel Grant applications have re-opened until midnight, Monday 22 May 2017,  for researchers, clinicians and postgraduate students to attend the 11th World Congress on Adolescent Health in New Delhi held on 27-29 October 2017.

The purpose of the Travel Grants is to broaden the source of innovation across all AIC participating institutions which can potentially contribute to the achievement of the Health Cluster’s goals:

  • To increase understanding of the importance of reducing NCD risk factors in the early years in both Australia and Indonesia; and
  • To influence policy and practice in effective primary prevention of NCDs in Indonesia and Australia.

As part of the selection process, preference will be given to applicants who have been engaged in AIC-related activities, have submitted (or are planning to submit) an abstract to the IAAH, have leadership potential in adolescent health, and who are working or undertaking post-graduate study that is aligned with the Health Cluster priorities and mission.

Full details on the travel grant including eligibility, selection criteria and applying can be found in the guidelines and application form linked below.
